We are so thrilled to be welcoming you all back from 4th July (subject to changing Government guidance).


We are responding to all the waitlist requests for appointments and will contact you with an appointment directly. As you can appreciate, the reduced capacity means we may need to offer you an appointment that is up to 6 weeks wait. We encourage you to take this appointment as, if we have cancellations or the Government guidance changes and we can increase our capacity, we will contact clients already booked in to offer an earlier appointment.


If you have not yet booked please email contact@christoshairgroup.com and include your full name, contact telephone number, service required, and preferred stylist. THIS INCLUDES OUR BARBERING SERVICES, as we now have to take your contact details for Test Track and Trace.


Giving you confidence


All our team members have undertaken the Barbicide Covid awareness and Wella Covid Safe Salon courses, in infection control and hygiene and are fully prepared for the opening.


As you will expect, there will be some changes as we do everything we can to protect you and our team, whilst this may feel a little different please rest assured we are committed to giving you the same first-class service you expect when you walk into Christos.


Some notes on your appointment


  • All appointments will need to be booked in advance.

  • If you have developed any Covid symptoms prior to your appointment, or you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid, you must cancel your appointment and isolate as per Government guidance.

  • You should attend your appointment on your own unless you require someone with you for medical or care reasons.

  • Please limit all personal belongings as we will not have cloakroom facilities so these must stay with you.

  • As space is limited please ensure you arrive for your appointment at you designated time. We do not have a waiting area so if you arrive early you will not be able to enter the salon.

  • We have also installed Hygenica antimicrobial curtains. These are the same curtains you see in hospitals and are made from antimicrobial fabric to kill a broad spectrum of pathogens within a minute.

  • To offer the very best levels of protection to our clients and staff it has been necessary to add a small charge increase to cover the costs of PPE.

  • Important note about colour. If you had your last colour with us, this year and you have not coloured your hair at home, since your last salon appointment you will not be required to have a further 48HR patch test, unless you have developed a allergy to anything is the last 3 months, been unwell or had your medication changed. If you have not had a colour with us this year, or if you have coloured your hair at home or you have been unwell, please phone 3 days in advance of your appointment to book a quick patch test. If you are unsure we are happy to have a face time consultation with you prior to your appointment.

What to expect at your appointment?


  • When you arrive at the salon you will be given a disposable face mask & hand sanitiser.

  • You will then be directed to reception where a member of the team will take your temperature.

  • Your stylist will be in full PPE including a visor and will discuss your requirements with you using the mirror.

  • We will not be able to provide you with magazines so please bring your own reading material.

  • We are unable to offer you a drink (only water) so please bring a drink with you.

  • Your stylist will guide you through everything and can answer any questions you have.

  • We are happy to get your retail products ready for you, your salon discount on all retail products still applies and we have the Latest Vitamin and Mineral Supplements from Lamberts back up to full stock levels.

Clinic work


Our clinics are still running, and we have been granted essential service status so you can rest assured that we are working within stringent guidelines to ensure your safety at all times.

Our NHS Referrals for Wigs, Hair Systems hair integration and hair loss replacement has increased during lock down with many new services being added to our Hair loss and regeneration portfolio.


Our Medical team of NHS Urgent care Practioner, Nurse Prescribers, Consultant Pharmacist and Medical Nutritionist have published papers on the effects of COVID on our gut health immune systems and the health of hair and scalp, in relation to the Pathogens and Covid Viruses, these services have been well used and been of high benefit for all our Patient work during lockdown, and they will be expanded from the 4th July.


We will be opening the clinic from Sunday 5th July with appointments available for trichology consultation, wig fitting, hair loss, nutrition, and aesthetics. To book or amend your appointment please email clinician@christoshairgroup.com
