Whenever a client comes in to see us we take the time to actually get to know them, not just their condition. Whilst a few are taken aback when we ask for a full medical history including current dietary habits, lifestyle pursuits and medication, the reason we do this is actually pretty straightforward.

The more we know about you, the more likely we will be able to look at what could potentially be causing the hair loss, hair thinning, acne etc.

Over the (many) years that we have been treating clients for hair loss and skin conditions we have found that nutrition, or more importantly, the correct nutrition for them, can have a profound effect on aiding recovery as well as improving their overall wellbeing.

Nutritional advice including food planning and vitamin supplements bespoke to you have been part of our service for a long time and we are thrilled to announce that our team is extending to include Lottie Lucas, The Food Pharmacist.

Lottie, a qualified pharmacist with over 25 years experience, recognised that the ‘pill for every ill’ culture was not working. The increasing media attention that focused on how poor diet and lifestyle was making us sick, did not reflect that diet and lifestyle can also promote health and wellbeing and be used to treat illness. In 2018 Lottie embarked on a career change to become a Registered Nutritionist with the Association of British Nutrition Foundation

Lottie is passionate about empowering people to take charge of, and become experts in, their own health. She is an advocate of evidence-based medicine and all her recommendations are based on the latest scientific research. She believes natural, whole foods are the most advanced ‘drugs’ you could ever imagine and believes we have to break away from restrictive fads and food myths to focus on what we need to eat to nurture ourselves to wellness as individuals.
