FAQs Regarding PCR Rapid Test for COVID-19

Can I use this certificate as proof I am Fit to Fly?

For clients with a negative test result, you will be able to use this certificate as evidence that you have tested negative for COVID and you should be able to fly abroad. Please note that we will base the certificate on the information provided, we will not be liable for any errors and you are responsible for calculating the required timings with regards to the entry requirements of the country you are travelling to.

Who can use this service?

This service is available for both adults and children and your clinician will be a trained professional.

How long will my appointment take?

Your appointment should last no more than 30 minutes including completing all forms and conducting the swab test.

What will happen during my appointment?

Your clinician will take your temperature and ask you to sanitise your hands. If you do not have a mask with you, you will be issued a disposable mask to wear during the consultation. We will complete the paperwork with you and talk you through the process. Please note that we are required to conduct an identity check so MUST bring a form of photo ID with you to your appointment. You will be asked to remove the mask while we conduct the swab test and then will be required to put the mask back on.

When should I book my appointment?

We will not be liable for the timing of your test and whether this is within the parameters of the destination country. Our recommendation is to book no earlier than 72 hours before you are due to fly.

If you are fully vaccinated

This is what you need to do if you qualify under the fully vaccinated rules for travel to England.

Before you travel to England – fully vaccinated

Before you travel to England you must:

·       book and pay for a COVID-19 test – to be taken after you arrive in England

·       complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England

If you’re in England for less than 2 days, you still need to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test.

When you arrive in England – fully vaccinated

After you arrive in England you must take a COVID-19 test. This is the test that you booked before travel. You can book either a lateral flow test or a PCR test.

You can take the test any time after you arrive and before the end of day 2 at the latest. The day you arrive is day 0.

If your test result is positive, you must self-isolate.

We will of course still be offering our Outbound Fit to Fly service alongside this. If you need a book a test please call us on 07510639287
